Interactive 3D turntables
Interactive 3D turntables allow you to manually turn a product or scene, usually as if it was mounted on a turntable (hence the name). Typically you use a mouse or finger to control which angle you see of the 3D objects. It can be an interesting halfway point between real time 3D, which which has drawbacks of the quality of the rendering being limited by capabilities (and battery) of the playback device, and on the other hand pre-rendered video which means no user interaction to change the viewpoint or scene. Interactive 3D turntables can be built in different file & code formats, flash based is fairly common.
